Minor Home Repair Service

DSCC home meal delivery is available under a grant that is partially funded through provisions of the Older Americans Act and on an individual fee for service basis. In conjunction with this program, DSCC offers the added value of our daily Well Being Check. Volunteers conduct daily checks of our seniors and alert our staff to any observed health or safety issues. An Emergency Follow-up Procedure is in place for any senior who does not respond to the delivery person and was expected to be at home. We collaborate with every municipality and township in DuPage County to account for every “missing” senior by the end of each business day. 

The Well Being Check Program is also available to seniors on an individual basis independent of the home meal delivery program. Seniors or family members interested in obtaining fee-based Well Being Check services should call our 630-620-0804 for additional information.
